I sing for devil, we praise satan – Terry G opens up

Nigerian singer, Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G, has made a bold declaration about his music and beliefs.

In a recent teaser released for an upcoming episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Terry G, known for his crazy yet riveting tunes, stated, “I am a secular musician. I sing for the devil. We [secular musicians] sing for the devil, we praise the devil. We don’t glorify God.”

The clip quickly went viral on social media, stirring up a heated discussion among netizens.

Furthermore, Terry G made remarks about fellow Nigerian artist Wizkid’s music style.

He claimed that most Nigerians couldn’t relate to Wizkid’s songs due to his new musical direction. Terry G attributed this perceived disconnect to the educational background of his generation of artists, stating, “My colleagues from my set, most of us are illiterates.”
